Interim, Inc. Soledad Office Open House with Guided Tours

Interim, Inc. is hosting an open house to acquaint the Soledad community with its new location and services available in Soledad. The agency invites the community to meet their friendly staff. Interim, Inc. is the largest provider of housing and support services serving adults living with serious mental illness in Monterey County. Historically, Interim’s staff have been based on the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas area. Staff had to travel to South County to provide services and clients in South County would have to travel to the Peninsula to receive them. With the new office space, staff from three of Interim’s programs will be permanently placed in their new Soledad office: Keep It Real, MCHOME and ACT. Other programs will be able to use the office space to better serve South County residents as needed.

 The MCHOME program is a homeless outreach program that serves adults living with mental illness.

 The Keep It Real program offers community-based harm reduction support services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders who are in recovery.

 The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program assists and provides services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness in the community where they live. ACT serves individuals who are not easily engaged in services, and who have used in-patient mental health services, but are not engaged in on-going treatment in the community.

Interim, Inc. esta organizando un evento de puertas abiertas para familiarizar a la comunidad de Soledad con su nueva ubicación y los servicios disponibles en Soledad. La agencia invita a la comunidad a conocer a su amable personal. Interim, Inc. es el proveedor más grande de servicios de vivienda y apoyo para adultos que viven con enfermedades mentales en el Condado de Monterey. Históricamente, el personal de Interim ha estado basado en la Península de Monterey y el área de Salinas. El personal debía viajar al Sur del Condado para brindar servicios, y los clientes del Sur del Condado debían viajar a la Península para recibirlos. Con el nuevo espacio de oficina, el personal de tres programas de la agencia Interim estará permanentemente ubicado en su nueva oficina de Soledad: el programa Keep It Real, MCHOME y ACT. Otros programas podrán utilizar el espacio de la oficina para atender mejor a los residentes del Sur del Condado según sea necesario.

 El programa MCHOME es un programa de alcance para personas sin hogar que sirve a adultos que viven con enfermedades mentales.

 El programa Keep It Real ofrece servicios de apoyo comunitario para individuos con dificultades de salud mental y uso de sustancias que están en proceso de recuperación.

El programa de Tratamiento Comunitario Asertivo (ACT) ayuda y brinda servicios a adultos con discapacidades mentales en la comunidad donde viven. ACT ayuda a personas que no se involucran fácilmente en servicios y que han utilizado servicios de salud mental hospitalarios, pero no participan en tratamiento continuo en la comunidad.
